Dynamic Duo

Dear Friends & Family,

Greetings from Seoul again! The cherry blossoms are taking over the city, and Seoul is awash in fluffy flowery clouds! Spring has arrived, and so has the warm weather. It's great to be here right now. I hope you'll read today's teaching on the power of the Holy Spirit. When we team up with Him, what a dynamic duo the two of us can become!

Moldova Back in the News!

The beautiful thing about planting seeds, is that months after your labor, you can enjoy a healthy return on your investment. Such is the case in Moldova. This past weekend, Pastor Victor Antoci, along with the faithful cast from Nisporeni, presented "The Judgment Seat" in the capital for the city's youth. Altogether, over 250 people came to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior! Altogether, over 600 have come to know Jesus Christ in Moldova! Praise the Lord! May the Lord continue to use the cast to reach souls in this communistic and atheistic country.

Can you believe it? The show in Moldova continues to bring more people to Jesus! Last weekend, over 250 people gave their hearts to the Lord!

Production Update

It's enough that there are hundreds of lines for actors to memorize, plus staging, dances, songs, costume changes, stage fighting, etc. Actors are usually a little overwhelmed to do all that‘s being asked of them. However, take the case of Korea, where the actors in some cases do NOT speak English, and have to memorize everything in a language they don't even speak! Asia is dedicated to learning the English language well, and Hansei's vision is to equip them in every way possible to meet that goal.

One of the ways we're doing this is through productions like "The Promise". There's a two-fold effort to reach Seoul with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a language that everyone can understand… visual arts. The second effort is to encourage actors to use their language skills to act, and the audience the practice to listen to English!

We open the production in less than 10 days! Gulp….. We have so much work to do. In the natural, this is impossible, but with Jesus, I can do all things! Please pray that the Korean people will be reached through this musical, artistic venture.

My friends and saints from the U.S., Christy Wayne and Amy Harris, have come to assist by making hundreds of beautiful costumes. Here, they costume some of my actors.

The Dynamic Duo

Wouldn't it be just great if the Lord was physically with us everyday? If we were sick, He'd just reach over and heal us. If we needed some money, He'd just hand it over. If I needed advice, we could just ask Him, and He'd give us the most amazing advice and direction. What a great advantage in life we'd have!

Did you know we've actually got someone BETTER than Jesus? Please don't think I'm being blasphemous when I write that! Jesus Himself said in John 16:7, "I tell you the truth, it is expedient for you that I go away, so that when I depart, I will send Him to you." Jesus was talking to the 12 men who had been with Him everyday for 3 years and had seen all manner of miracles and great works.

2,000 years later, Christians are still struggling to believe it with all their heart. We know it's true… kind of…and we're grateful that we're born again. The biggest problem is that we haven't appreciated the Holy Spirit and His ministry in us today.

This has been a week of interviews and promotions. Here I am the guest of Mrs. Cho as I encourage Christians through the Word, and promote

Samson was just an ordinary man, but when the Holy Spirit came on him, he single-handedly killed 1,000 Philistine soldiers, according to Judges 15:14-16. Elijah was another ordinary man, but when the Holy Spirit came on him, he called down fire from God, outran the fastest chariot, and killed 400 prophets, and that was all in ONE day! If the Holy Spirit can do that with just two ordinary men, imagine what He could do through you!

When you are born again, the Holy Spirit comes inside you, and everything changes. You're suddenly endowed with tremendous power… from on high! Of course, you might ask, "Well, if He's all that, what hasn't He helped me with all I've been going through?" It's important to remember that He's your helper, not your dominator. He's not here to take over your life. If you're walking in negative thinking and unbelief, He will not void all that out, and make you follow a different way, even though He's got the power to do so! No, He's a gentleman, and will wait for you patiently to open the door.

Instead of moaning and complaining about how broke you are, start quoting scripture, "My God can supply all of my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus!" When you open His Word, He opens to you new thoughts, new visions, new ideas!

You've been sent to the world exactly like Jesus was. You've been sent to represent Jesus Christ to a hurting world. That's the very reason Jesus sent you the Holy Spirit. To equip you to do His work on the earth. In fact, the Holy Spirit wants to do, "Exceedingly abundantly above all that you can ask or think." Ephesians 3:20

So don't meditate on your problems, but get into your Bible and study all that the Holy Spirit did for you, and start realizing just how much power and anointing you can walk in if you will just let Him walk beside you every day. He won't just walk beside you, He'll dwell in your heart, and what a dynamic duo the two of you will be!

Chukbok Hamnida!

That's Korean for "God Bless You!" I praise the Lord for you and for YOUR ministry. God's desire is to use you, to touch those around you, and to bless your church and your community. May the Lord do "exceedingly, abundantly above that which you could even ask for or think of!" Take care, my friend!

For the Kingdom,
Richard Montez
